Open Studio May 2014 Dolls House Series
​
I produced a series of Artist books based on five Poems by Maria Butunoi (www.mariabutunoi.com). Play was forbidden to to Maria as a child in Romania so the old family doll’s house was an interesting base for our thoughts about memory and identity.

I worked with my family to produce nine Artist Books including ...Hereby Hangs a Tale
We began with a familiar family story and told it in our own way then I combined the answers to form Artist books-- and Thereby Hangs a Tale.

Lizard-Point is formed from the oldest visible bedrock on earth, its permanent isn't it? But the continental plates continue to shift, symbolizing for me the fragile balance that supports us. We should tread softly.
